Notes that stay with the work

A note is most useful next to the thing it is about. In Flicx Sheet a note can be stuck to a row or a single cell, float beside the sheet while you work, or pop out into a window of its own.

Write fast, format as you go

Headings, lists, tasks, highlights, links and code, typed with the shortcuts you already know. Paste a screenshot and it goes straight into the note. Notes save themselves as you type.

Workbooks keep notes organised

Every note belongs to a workbook. Give a workbook a cover picture, rename it, move or copy notes between workbooks, and share a whole workbook read-only with one link — useful for meeting notes, a project journal or a study notebook.

Stick a note to a row

A note stuck to a row shows a small marker on that row, so it is found by whoever opens the sheet next. People who can read the sheet can read the note; only its author can change it.

Questions

Can I share a set of notes with someone who has no account?

Yes. Share the workbook with a link. Anyone with the link can read every note in it; nobody can edit. Links can expire or be revoked.

Can notes hold images?

Yes. Paste an image from your clipboard into a note and it is uploaded and shown in place.
