Are my passwords stored in the cloud?

No. They are kept in an encrypted file on your device. They are not uploaded to Flicx Sheet's servers.

What if I forget the master password?

Nobody can recover it, including us. You can restore a backup file if you know its password, or erase the store and start again.

Is the Secret Store on the website?

No. It is in the Windows and Android apps only, because a website cannot keep a file safely on your device.

A password vault that stays on your device

The Secret Store is part of the Flicx Sheet apps for Windows and Android. It keeps passwords, PINs, keys and notes in an encrypted file on the device itself, and nowhere else.

Locked by you, unlocked by you

You choose one master password. On Windows you can then unlock with Windows Hello, and on Android with your fingerprint. The store locks itself when you leave it, and again after a few minutes without use.

What it keeps, and how

Any number of secrets, each with named values and notes
Encrypted with AES-256, with a key made from your master password
Values stay hidden until you ask to see one; copying clears the clipboard afterwards
A built-in generator for strong passwords and passphrases
A backup file you can save and restore, which opens only with your master password

Quick to reach, easy to move

On Windows a keyboard shortcut opens a small Secret Store window from anywhere, which closes by itself after a few minutes. To move one secret to your other device, show it as an encrypted QR code and scan it there: it opens once, and only on a device signed in to your account.
