A resume builder that tailors your resume to every job
Resume Assist is a workspace with an agent on one side and your resume on the other. Tell it about your work once; after that, give it a job description and it reshapes the resume for that role.
Start from what you have
Upload your current resume as a PDF, a picture, a Word file or LaTeX, pick one from your Library, start from a template, or start blank and describe yourself. The agent rebuilds it in a clean layout and keeps what it learned about you for next time.
Tailor it to the job
- Paste a job description, link to it, or attach it as a file
- Ask what is missing for that job before you apply
- Choose one page or several, and the agent fits the text to the page
- Edit by chatting: shorten this, stress that, move a section
Send it out
Compile an exact PDF, save each version to your Library with its source, and have the agent write a cover letter for the same role. It can also help with application forms, including the question of why they should hire you.
Questions
- Does it invent experience I do not have?
- No. It writes from what you told it and what is in the resume you gave it, and asks when something it needs is missing.
- Can I get a PDF?
- Yes. The resume is typeset from LaTeX, so the PDF is exact, and you can also copy the LaTeX source.
- Does it remember me between sessions?
- Yes. What you tell it about your experience is kept in your account, and you can read and remove what it knows at any time.
